Team Leader - Quickship Operations

About the role

The Team Leader - Quickship Operations leads day-to-day shop floor activities and coordinates Quick Ship manufacturing operations, supporting workforce development and driving operational excellence across assembly, machining, welding and heat treatment. The role is based in the UAE and may require up to 25% travel. It reports to the Quick Ship Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations and act as the safety focal point, running toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives
• Plan, coordinate and execute assembly, machining, welding and heat treatment operations, and support item activation for in-house manufacturing
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to the operations team and ensure tooling, materials and equipment are available
• Work with Planning and Stores for workflow and order execution, and with Quality on internal programs, customer inspections, surveillance visits and regulatory audits
• Drive workforce development through coaching, training and talent development, and support factory automation and intelligent manufacturing initiatives
• Prepare performance reports, run review meetings and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Technical diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Production Engineering or a related field
• 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years as a Supervisor or Team Leader
• Experience in valve, mechanical or process industry manufacturing
• Preferred: knowledge of assembly, machining and welding; Fisher Control Valve product knowledge; Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement familiarity
