Mechanical Designer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and innovative Mechanical Designer to support the development of mechanical systems, components, and equipment. The role involves translating design concepts and engineering requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions while ensuring functionality, reliability, safety, and design quality.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components.
• Develop detailed mechanical designs and prepare engineering documentation.
• Review designs for accuracy, manufacturability and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and improve product performance.
• Interpret technical specifications, conduct design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or Creo.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
