Tech Transfer Specialist

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Tech Transfer Specialist to lead the evaluation and implementation of technology transfer projects for new pharmaceutical products. The role supports pilot and scale‑up manufacturing while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate technical dossiers to determine feasibility of product transfer.
• Manage Quality Management System (QMS) activities for new products.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify gaps between sites or external labs regarding materials, methods, equipment, and batch size.
• Source required materials and tools according to dossier specifications.
• Execute and oversee tech‑transfer activities with external CROs and CMOs.
• Support manufacturing of pilot and scale‑up batches, preparing all necessary documentation.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Tech Transfer Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in formulation development and technology transfer.
• Proven experience in scaling up pharmaceutical dosage forms.
• Hands‑on experience with technology transfer of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
