Technical Accounting Manager

About the role

Kitchen Park turns underutilized properties into fully equipped kitchens for restaurateurs, supporting their growth in the online food delivery market. It is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to own the technical accounting agenda and provide IFRS advice, based in the Dubai office.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and maintain global accounting policies, memos and guidance notes.
• Provide technical IFRS advice on M&A, restructurings, new contracts, debt and equity issuances, joint ventures and similar transactions.
• Work with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A and senior leadership to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Lead projects for new IFRS implementations, system changes and reporting enhancements.
• Inform business stakeholders about emerging accounting standards, local GCC regulations and industry best practice.
• Represent the company with external auditors and contribute to comment letters or industry forums.

Required profile

• 7-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong exposure to IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, 10).
• Experience drafting technical accounting memos, policies and position papers.
• A Big 4 accounting or advisory background (audit, accounting advisory or transaction accounting) is strongly preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA (or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently, research deeply and explain complex issues to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience managing regional or multi-jurisdictional entities in the GCC is a strong plus.

The role is based in the Dubai office, and all office-based teams work onsite five days a week.
