Technical Manager - Fit-Out

About the role

Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. is looking for a Technical Manager for fit-out projects in Dubai. The role covers technical leadership, design coordination and interior fit-out, ensuring drawings, specifications, materials and details are coordinated, compliant and buildable within project constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate shop drawings, design development and technical submissions; review architectural, ID, MEP and specialist drawings for coordination and constructability
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, authority regulations, codes and consultant standards
• Lead design coordination meetings and resolve technical clashes
• Oversee shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups and prototypes, and coordinate with planning and procurement teams to avoid delays
• Propose value engineering solutions and identify construction risks early
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities on technical approvals and support authority inspections
• Provide technical guidance to site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, resolve RFIs and support quality control
• Prepare complete as-built drawings and O&M manuals and support project handover

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering
• More than 20 years of experience in interior fit-out projects
• Strong UAE experience with consultant-led, fast-track projects
• Proven experience in high-end commercial, hospitality, retail or residential fit-outs
