Technical Manager – Waste Water Treatment

About the role

The Technical Manager will lead the design, tendering and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects for multinational clients. Based in Sharjah, you will coordinate a local team and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to create winning technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse tender documents, interpret client requirements and propose optimal solutions.
• Develop conceptual and detailed process designs, P&IDs, civil and equipment layout drawings.
• Prepare power, chemical, procurement, cost estimation and life‑cycle analyses for bids.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, provide training and ensure knowledge sharing.
• Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle to secure successful outcomes.
• Identify and integrate new technologies, partners and joint‑venture opportunities.
• Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering.
• Proven track record in tender preparation, evaluation and winning large contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial or Environmental Engineering.
