Technical Product Manager – Flight Operations

About the role

Manage and continuously enhance technology products within the Flight Operations and Crew Management domain, acting as the bridge between airline operational requirements and technical IT execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects across Flight Operations and Crew Operations.
• Translate operational business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with architects, developers, and vendors.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery roadblocks to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining operational continuity.
• Ensure technology changes comply with corporate governance, cybersecurity policies, and aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, GCAA).
• Serve as primary liaison between technical teams (DevOps, Data Engineering, Network Security) and operational stakeholders.
• Prepare and present change records, release plans, and deployment readiness assessments at CAB meetings.
• Provide regular project updates, budget reports, risk assessments, and executive‑level status reporting.
• Manage deployments through the Route to LIVE (RTL) process and support change, incident, and release management using ITSM and ITIL best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in airline or aviation industry.
• Knowledge of Flight Operations and Crew Management systems.
• Experience with IT governance, change management, and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, and modern enterprise architectures.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
