About the role

Air Arabia is looking for a Technical Services Engineer to customize, develop and manage the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) needed for the continued airworthiness of Air Arabia's own aircraft and third-party aircraft. The role sets standards and measures for the program, optimizes aircraft performance and reduces costs, and acts as an interface between internal departments and external providers. It also serves as a key liaison within the Airbus User AMP working group and takes part in the MSG Steering Group meetings.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the complete cycle of the Aircraft Maintenance Program, including work scopes during aircraft delivery and re-delivery.
  • Support development engineers and maintenance teams (Line, Hangar, MCC) with data collation, performance review, request analysis, reporting and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the AMP complies with OEM, CAMO and regulatory requirements, and use data to drive cost-effective, proactive improvements.
  • Review work packages, tools and manpower utilization with the Planning Engineers, and represent the company in the Maintenance Review Board.
  • Work with the Reliability Engineer and Quality Assurance on manufacturer and EASA Airworthiness Directives (ADs), ensuring they are introduced into the AMP on time.
  • Introduce and monitor the AMP for new aircraft, liaising with regulators for approval, and support the Head of Engineering on procedures and specifications.
  • Generate reports for management, cross-functional teams and regulators, and coordinate with stakeholders, manufacturers and airlines.
  • Assist with audits, occurrence reports and audit findings closure.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Aircraft/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a higher diploma/certificate in a related field, with the required experience.
  • 5+ years of collective aviation experience; trainee or airline OJT counts towards experience.
  • Fluent English; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Mandatory training in Human Factors and Safety; training in Engineering Systems and MSG/3 highly desirable.
  • Experience with aircraft airworthiness programs (CAMO), civil aviation regulations (preferably GCAA), and maintenance program systems and techniques.
  • Exposure to reliability programs, quality assurance, safety and audit practices; experience with Airbus A320 highly desirable.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRO systems and web search.
  • Project management, cost control, compliance and budgeting are an added value.
