Technician 2 – Resort Maintenance

About the role

Atlantis The Royal seeks a Technician 2 to sustain the resort’s facilities across a wide range of systems, ensuring flawless operation for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, AV and fire‑life safety maintenance in rooms, public areas and exterior features.
• Execute condition‑based and preventive maintenance (CBM/PPM) according to manufacturer guidelines and SOPs.
• Respond to guest complaints, coordinate room blockages with housekeeping and front office, and lead the team in the absence of the team leader.
• Maintain tools, calibrate equipment, keep work areas clean and report hazards.
• Assist with inventory, material requisitions and documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade.
• Diploma or trade‑school certification in a relevant discipline.
• Ability to work under pressure, in restricted access areas and during emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to train others.

Required skills

• Electrical and mechanical systems troubleshooting.
• MEP and ELV system maintenance.
• Audio‑visual and fire‑life safety system servicing.
• Condition‑based maintenance (CBM) and preventive maintenance (PPM) procedures.
• Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health‑safety standards.
