Telephone Operator – Resort

About the role

We are seeking a courteous Telephone Operator to manage our switchboard and provide excellent guest service at the Radisson Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves handling incoming calls, assisting guests with information and services, and supporting the front‑desk team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the switchboard courteously and according to standards.
• Transfer incoming calls promptly to the appropriate extension.
• Assist guests with long‑distance calls and place calls on their behalf.
• Answer guest inquiries about the hotel, facilities and local events.
• Take, record and deliver accurate messages.
• Manage wake‑up call requests and ensure timely delivery.
• Know the room‑service menu and process orders promptly.
• Monitor the One Touch Service Application Request Manager and respond immediately.
• Promote food and beverage options to increase hotel revenue.
• Handle difficult situations effectively and use the “Making it right” approach for complaints.
