About the role

The Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is responsible for delivering clear, structured aviation theory lectures to students preparing for licensing exams and safe flight operations. The role ensures that learners acquire the essential theoretical foundation required for their future careers as pilots or aviation professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality theoretical knowledge lectures in line with approved curricula and academy manuals.
• Maintain and regularly update training materials, lesson plans, and accurate student performance and attendance records.
• Support and mentor students, providing constructive feedback and fostering a positive, professional learning environment.
• Utilise training resources efficiently, contribute to curriculum development, and uphold examination confidentiality and professional standards.
• Promote safety, maintain required documentation, and perform duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in aviation, aeronautics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant pilot licences (e.g., PPL, CPL, ATPL) or an aircraft maintenance licence are advantageous.
• Prior experience as a pilot, flight instructor, air‑traffic controller, or aviation engineer is highly valued.
• Strong presentation, communication, and classroom‑management abilities.
• Completion of instructional‑technique training; a Train‑the‑Trainer certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering theoretical aviation instruction, preferably ATPL theory at a GCAA‑approved training organisation.
• In‑depth knowledge of the aviation industry and UAE GCAA safety policies.
