Ultrasonographer – Full-time in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasonographer to join a reputable healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and delivering high‑quality imaging services to support patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine ultrasound examinations following established imaging protocols.
• Verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and secure appropriate consent.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images and document sonographic observations for radiologist review.
• Identify normal and abnormal findings and escalate uncertain results.
• Maintain accurate image archiving using RIS/PACS and electronic medical record systems.
• Provide patient‑centered care, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and confidentiality.
• Conduct equipment checks and support quality‑assurance activities.
• Adhere to infection control, health‑safety, and ultrasound safety standards.
• Participate in on‑call, extended hours, or weekend duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Radiology Technology, Medical Imaging or related field.
• Post‑primary Certificate/Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound (minimum 12 months) or a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonography.
• Valid DHA license as a Radiology Technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge, patient‑care skills and ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
