Userplane Protocol Stack Engineer

About the role

The Userplane Protocol Stack Engineer will join a technically driven team in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on the design and optimisation of modern communication systems. You will work across networking, cloud infrastructure and software domains to deliver secure, high‑performance network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and support network communication solutions for cloud‑based and on‑premise environments.
• Apply deep networking expertise to troubleshoot, optimise and secure protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, UDP, SSH and RDP.
• Develop and maintain software components using languages like Go.NET, Java, C++ or C.
• Support SaaS deployments, micro‑services architectures and Kubernetes‑orchestrated systems.
• Work with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) to build scalable networking architectures.
• Implement secure communication mechanisms using WireGuard tunnels, gRPC and messaging systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of professional experience in networking, software engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and how communication protocols operate.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud networking, SaaS deployments and micro‑services architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go.NET, Java, C++ or C.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems and distributed systems.
