Utilities Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Utilities Engineer to develop conceptual and detailed designs for utility corridors, master‑plan utilities, and cross‑sections in Dubai. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create coordinated designs that meet local authority regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed engineering designs for utility corridors and master‑planning of utilities.
• Prepare engineering design models using Civil3D or similar software and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Produce technical notes, presentations, and reports for clients, authorities, and management.
• Review plans and profiles for compliance, create simple workflows/templates, and support BIM/CAD designers.
• Track task progress against baseline schedules and ensure design deliverables meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of QA/QC standards and local authority regulations.
