Vice President, Head of Legal

About the role

Al Ramz Corporation P.J.S.C. is seeking a Vice President, Head of Legal to lead its Group Legal function. The role reports to Executive Management and the Board, providing strategic legal counsel across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Legal Department and advise senior leadership on corporate, regulatory and commercial matters.
• Oversee commercial contracts, corporate governance, litigation, disputes, employment issues and legal risk management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial market regulations, including CMA, ADX, DFM, DFSA and ADGM FSRA.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage complex agreements while maintaining the Group’s contract framework.
• Manage external law firms, legal budgets, litigation strategy and regulatory investigations.
• Drive corporate restructuring, licensing, entity formation, regulatory approvals and legal due diligence.
• Deliver legal training and regulatory awareness programmes across the Group.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (Master’s preferred) and admission to practice in a recognised jurisdiction.
• Extensive legal leadership experience in UAE financial services or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of CMA, ADX, DFM, DFSA and ADGM FSRA regulations.
• Proven background in corporate law, capital markets, securities brokerage, investment banking, asset management and dispute management.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
