VP, Global Partnership Sales

About the role

The VP, Global Partnership Sales will lead new‑business efforts to secure large, multi‑million‑dollar sponsorship deals for AFC competitions. You will identify and open doors with global and pan‑Asian brands, especially non‑Asian and Korean companies, and work with senior leadership to close these deals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own a pipeline of new global brands, focusing on non‑Asian and Korean markets.
• Identify and engage key decision‑makers at major brands, securing first meetings and presentations.
• Lead complex, multi‑market deals across global headquarters and regional offices.
• Accurately forecast sales, adjust plans to market shifts, and maintain structured pipeline reporting.
• Collaborate with partnership strategy, solutions, and deal processing teams, as well as the SVP and Chief Partnerships Officer, to develop and close contracts.

Required profile

• 10+ years of new‑business sales experience, preferably in a commercial sports agency or sponsorship environment.
• Proven track record of closing high‑value international sponsorship deals across multiple markets.
• Established relationships with senior decision‑makers at major global brands in Europe, the US, and Korea.
• Strong understanding of the Asian sports and commercial landscape, especially Korea.
• Self‑driven, organised, results‑oriented, with the ability to manage long sales cycles and travel frequently.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the global sports sponsorship market and emerging trends.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities with senior international clients.
• Fluent English (native or highly fluent); additional languages are a plus.
