VP & Senior Audit Manager – Enterprise Risk Management

About the role

The VP & Senior Audit Manager will lead risk‑based audits across the Risk and Global Markets functions of the FAB Group. You will provide assurance to senior management by identifying control weaknesses, reporting findings, and driving remediation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the audit universe for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) area, securing Board Audit Committee approval.
• Develop and execute the annual risk‑based internal audit plan for the Group Risk Department, defining scopes, objectives and terms of reference.
• Assess controls protecting the Bank’s assets in line with internal audit guidance and the Group Fraud Risk Management Policy.
• Lead audit teams, mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge to achieve audit objectives efficiently.
• Monitor financial performance of audited areas against budgets and report variances to management.
• Ensure compliance with GIA policies, guidance notes, procedures and practice notes.
• Provide input on emerging risk issues that affect the FAB Group as a whole.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk management and regulatory environments within banking.
• Strong understanding of operational, fraud, credit, market, and capital management risks.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and decision‑making skills.
