Waiter – Duomo (Downtown Dubai)

About the role

The Duomo restaurant in Downtown Dubai is seeking a friendly and attentive waiter to deliver high‑quality service to guests. You will be responsible for presenting menus, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience in a fast‑paced, upscale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to service standards.
• Set tables and arrange settings based on the type of event.
• Answer menu‑related questions and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to work full‑time in a high‑energy hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Basic cash handling and transaction recording.
