Warehouse In-Charge

About the role

A client of the recruiter is looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on Warehouse In-Charge to run daily warehouse operations in Al Quoz, Dubai. The role covers receiving deliveries, preparing customer orders, keeping accurate inventory records in Odoo, coordinating dispatches and ensuring proper stock storage and rotation. It involves physical warehouse work such as receiving, picking, packing and loading goods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents, checking product codes, quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates and condition; report shortages, damage and discrepancies to the Sales Coordinator
• Record goods receipts, dispatches and inventory movements in Odoo, and keep supporting documents for every transaction
• Store goods in designated locations, applying FIFO and FEFO rotation, and report near-expiry, damaged or non-conforming products
• Pick, check, pack and label customer orders, prepare packing lists and dispatch records, and coordinate collections with delivery drivers and freight forwarders
• Carry out two full annual physical stock counts and take part in cycle counts
• Keep receiving, picking and dispatch records accurate and traceable, and inform the Sales Coordinator and Accounts team of issues and possible delays
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and report equipment or facility problems

Required profile

• 2-3 years of hands-on warehouse operations and order preparation experience in the region
• Experience receiving, picking, packing, loading and dispatching goods
• Ability to keep accurate inventory records and count stock physically
• Good English, computer and spreadsheet skills, strong organisation and attention to detail
• Valid Dubai driving licence and own vehicle preferred

Required skills

• Practical use of Odoo or a similar inventory system for receipts, dispatches and stock counts
• Inventory management, batch number tracking, expiry-date control and FIFO/FEFO rotation
• Advantageous: experience with perfumes, cosmetics or similar products
