Warehouse Operative

About the role

A Warehouse Operative is needed in Dubai to support supply chain operations in an onsite environment. The role covers receiving goods, storing them and preparing orders for delivery or pickup.

Key responsibilities

• Unload vehicles and check in stock; sort and place items on racks and shelves
• Collect items from the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup
• Organise and manage inventory, storage and transportation, and maintain stock records
• Process orders according to cycle order fulfilment and assist in shipping products between destinations
• Receive products, coordinate delivery and prepare loads for shipment
• Record goods-in of all received goods in the system and verify the quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and check for damaged or missing items
• Move stock by hand using lifting gear and perform and report inventory counts
• Keep paperwork and a filing system up to date, carry out quality assurance checks and comply with warehouse safety rules

Required profile

• Detail and accuracy oriented, self-motivated and able to self-check work
• Good mathematical and written English
• Ability to review incoming mail, prioritise and organise workflows
• Willingness to take on other tasks as required

Required skills

• Understanding of warehouse operations, including product knowledge, supplier and customer management
• Good Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills
