Warehouse Operator

About the role

Acino, a pharmaceutical company part of Arcera, is expanding its market position and is looking for a dedicated and motivated person to join its Warehouse team in Dubai, UAE, at the site of Acino Pharmaceuticals FZ LLC. The role covers receipt, storage, handling, issuance and inventory of materials in line with cGMP and SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Follow cGMP and SOPs during all warehouse operations and maintain personnel hygiene and safe work practices with the use of recommended PPE.
• Receive, inspect, dedust and store incoming shipments, and record inbound and outbound movements in logbooks and SAP.
• Operate a stacker and store raw, packaging, miscellaneous, finished and semi-finished goods in the right conditions and locations.
• Verify approval, retest or expiry status of materials and handle them accordingly.
• Clear lines, supervise dispensing of packing material, issue materials to Production/QC and retrieve excess materials.
• Dispense raw materials, packaging materials, bulk products and primary packed goods as required.
• Perform physical inventory checks, stock keeping, material transfers, shipping, returns, disposal and preparation for regulatory audits.
• Record finished goods received from production, arrange them for dispatch, prepare gate passes, delivery notes, packing lists and sales invoices, and post inventory transactions in SAP.
• Palletize finished goods, clean warehouse areas, sampling areas and clean room equipment, and propose efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policy, report deviations and non-compliances, and handle QMS, deviation and CAPA activities as authorized designee of the Warehouse Supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or above.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good command of English.
