Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Al Barakah Dates Factory is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage its warehouse and cold‑storage operations in Dubai Industrial City. The role ensures safe, efficient handling of raw dates, packaging materials and finished products while complying with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receipt, inspection, grading, weighing, storage and issuance of raw dates, ingredients, packaging materials, semi‑finished and finished goods.
• Maintain storage conditions (temperature, humidity) and ensure segregation, labelling and handling meet HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 and halal requirements.
• Manage FIFO/FEFO rotation, batch and lot traceability, returns, reconciliation and all warehouse documentation.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock ageing, shelf‑life, near‑expiry, rejected and slow‑moving items.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Procurement and Sales on material availability, quality holds and releases.
• Maintain SOPs, logbooks, temperature records, ERP transactions and inventory records.
• Support non‑conformance reports, corrective actions, traceability and recall exercises.
• Oversee loading, palletisation, container stuffing and dispatch for local and export orders, including export documentation support.
• Ensure health and safety, housekeeping, hygiene, cleaning and forklift/equipment safety.
• Train, motivate and monitor warehouse staff while driving operational improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, including supervisory experience; experience with dates, dry fruits or agri‑food is a strong advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and warehouse documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations and export procedures.
• Valid UAE driving licence and forklift/warehouse equipment knowledge are a plus.
