Web Developer - Freelance, Remote

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Web Developer to support a mission‑driven senior care organization. The role is fully remote and focuses on building, maintaining, and enhancing the client’s WordPress‑based web presence, including e‑commerce and internal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new WordPress websites from concept to production.
• Configure and maintain WooCommerce e‑commerce functionality, product pages, and checkout flows.
• Create internal web pages and tools that streamline staff and operational workflows.
• Perform regular updates of plugins, themes, and core WordPress software.
• Troubleshoot site bugs, downtime, and performance issues.
• Manage hosting tasks on SiteGround or comparable platforms.
• Maintain HubSpot integrations (forms, tracking, workflows) linked to the website.
• Collaborate using Google Workspace for documentation and coordination.
• Provide light design support using existing brand assets and incorporate AI‑generated or Canva content.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience building and maintaining WordPress sites.
• Experience with WooCommerce or similar WordPress e‑commerce setups.
• Familiarity with SiteGround hosting or comparable services.
• Working knowledge of HubSpot forms and integrations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for daily collaboration with a US‑based client.
