Webmaster

About the role

Liwa University is seeking a skilled Webmaster to plan, create, and maintain its web presence across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses. The role involves developing dynamic websites, ensuring security, and supporting the university’s digital marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to define website layout, design elements, and content structure.
• Design graphics, edit photos, and produce visual assets using illustration and layout software.
• Develop, code, and deploy dynamic web pages and applications using HTML, CSS, XML and, where required, JavaScript and SQL.
• Administer web servers, monitor traffic, and generate analytics reports.
• Implement and maintain SEO strategies, produce regular performance reports, and safeguard sites against cross‑site scripting, SQL injection and other attacks.
• Manage day‑to‑day website content, branding, product information and landing pages in coordination with the Digital Marketing Officer.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural university environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical troubleshooting skills.
