Welcome Desk Talent Coach

About the role

The Welcome Desk Talent Coach supports the Welcome Office by delivering exceptional guest experiences and guiding front‑line team members. This full‑time position combines guest service duties with coaching responsibilities to ensure high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
• Secure payment, handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and charges.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage cash handling procedures.
• Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with other staff.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and company policies.
• Use computers and POS systems efficiently while standing, walking or lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
