Welfare Assistant (Student Support & Bus Monitor)

About the role

The Welfare Assistant will support student wellbeing and safety within an international school in Dubai. Working closely with the facilities manager and welfare supervisor, you will ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for pupils both on the school premises and during transport.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor school buses at the start and end of each day, transporting children safely to and from school.
• Supervise pupils on the bus, managing behaviour positively and acting as a role model in line with the school’s behavioural framework.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the school, ensuring all areas are spotlessly clean.
• Handle stock levels and consumables, keeping accurate records.
• Uphold confidentiality at all times, discussing school matters only with authorised staff.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the school or regional office to support smooth daily operations.
• Report to the facilities manager and welfare supervisor.
