About the role
The Wet Deck Insider ensures seamless team collaboration to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs. This role involves overseeing staff appearance, managing opening and closing duties, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect staff grooming, attire, and rectify deficiencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
- Monitor dining areas for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Conduct inventories, stock supplies, and manage requisitions.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and navigate confined or elevated spaces.
