Accountant (Arabic Speaker) – Travel Industry

About the role

Bin Saleh Travel LLC is seeking an experienced Arabic‑speaking Accountant to oversee the accounting operations of its travel agency in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate tax compliance, and reconciling travel booking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor and client invoice uploads to private and government portals.
• Perform regular reconciliations between accounting records, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and the travel booking software.
• Calculate and file UAE VAT, Municipality Fees and Tourism Tax obligations.
• Track, calculate and reconcile commissions for partners and travel agents.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on accounting experience within the UAE travel and tourism sector.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including VAT, Municipality Fees and Tourism Taxes.
• Proven ability to work with travel accounting software and government portal systems.
