Accountant – Immediate Start in Seer Bani Yas

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our school in Seer Bani Yas with an immediate start. The role will handle all finance‑related activities for the school, supporting the Principal, school staff and the headquarters finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Accounts Receivable GL accounts are accurate and collections are made within due dates.
• Support the Principal in building and modifying the school budget and review monthly MIS.
• Prepare and issue invoices for tuition, exam fees, trips and other charges accurately and on time.
• Call parents daily to follow up on payments and issue receipts to maintain accurate bank reconciliation.
• Provide bank statements and receipt numbers to the Treasury Accountant for receipt clearing.
• Manage petty cash in line with company policies and delegation of authority.
• Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budget and strategic plan preparation.
• Assist HQ finance staff with monthly closing activities and ensure timely reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance function, or a professional qualification with at least 2 years in a similar role.
