Accreditation and Program Development Manager

About the role

New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accreditation and Program Development Manager to lead the design, approval, and continuous improvement of academic programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accreditation and Curricular Affairs, the role supports both local and international accreditation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage accreditation requirements with bodies such as CAA, ADEK, ABET, NASAD, NYSED, and MSCHE.
• Oversee new program proposals and substantive change submissions to internal committees and regulatory authorities.
• Apply a data‑driven approach to program development, quality assurance, and self‑evaluation.
• Lead accreditation self‑study coordination, site visits, and follow‑up documentation.
• Liaise with government partners and external accreditors, maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with Institutional Research to develop benchmarks, dashboards, and KPI reporting tools.
• Monitor emerging AI trends and their impact on accreditation standards.
• Participate in professional development to stay aligned with institutional and external requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in higher‑education accreditation, program development, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and regulatory processes.
