Advisor – Business Development & Strategic Growth

About the role

The Advisor – Business Development & Strategic Growth will lead the identification and capture of high‑value opportunities across EDGE Group’s defence and technology portfolio. Reporting to Business Development leadership, the role works closely with senior military and government stakeholders to shape solutions that address emerging operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and defence procurement cycles to pinpoint strategic growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑cluster teams to develop and present winning proposals for land, air, maritime and electronic warfare programmes.
• Influence customer requirements by translating emerging technology capabilities into actionable concepts.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and drive negotiations through to contract award.
• Represent EDGE Group at industry events and high‑level stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in military operations, defence business development or strategic consultancy.
• Deep knowledge of military CONOPS, defence procurement processes and global defence markets.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Strategic Studies, International Security or a related discipline.
