AGT Commissioning Engineer

About the role

The AGT Commissioning Engineer will work on‑site supporting Siemens Energy equipment for power generation and oil & gas customers. The role involves installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as detailed reporting and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance on Siemens Energy equipment for power generation and oil & gas assets.
• Prepare detailed technical reports outlining work performed, recommendations and suggestions to improve system reliability.
• Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact, representing Siemens Energy to the customer.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, including vibration analysis software, to identify issues and propose engineering solutions.
• Conduct controls‑related diagnostics and troubleshooting on AGT products.
• Uphold and promote company and customer EHS policies and programs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with control systems and commissioning of rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors and gas turbines.
• Proficiency in interpreting piping layouts, installation drawings, engineering diagrams and control schematics.
• Strong knowledge of compressor and gas turbine engine packages, performance, operation and root‑cause analysis.
• Customer‑focused, self‑motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively.
