Airport Manager

About the role

The Airport Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Air Arabia's Dubai station, ensuring safety, security, on‑time performance and cost‑effective workflow. The role requires close coordination with flight operations, ground handling agents, civil aviation authorities and internal departments to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for all operational and security matters at the station, following Air Arabia policies and the station operations manual.
• Coordinate daily briefings and debriefings with Flight Operations, managing ramp, check‑in, safety and security processes.
• Identify causes of delays, work with management to resolve them, and liaise with Regional Manager Ground Operations, MCC and other stakeholders during AOG, emergencies or technical disruptions.
• Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, GHAs, GSAs, suppliers and vendors to ensure operational efficiency and financial stewardship.
• Monitor service level agreements with GHAs, GSAs and vendors, handling performance reviews, payments and communications.
• Utilise reports and data analysis to track customer service metrics, highlight trends and drive improvements.
• Oversee baggage handling systems and resolve related customer complaints.
• Support Quality Assurance, Safety and Security audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage complex airport operations and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations, security, immigration and customs procedures.
• Experience guiding and supporting personnel in critical and legally sensitive situations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on cost‑effective solutions.
