Application Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects (HVAC)

About the role

We are looking for an Application Engineer to support oil and gas projects with HVAC equipment selection, costing and technical compliance. The role bridges customers, consultants and internal teams to deliver tailored HVAC solutions that meet UAE and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and techno‑commercial proposals for HVAC systems (packages, AHUs, chillers, FCUs, split and condensing units) based on RFQs and tender documents.
• Review client specifications, ensure technical compliance, and assist in equipment selection and submittal preparation.
• Support the sales team with proposals, presentations, client meetings and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with factories for pricing and technical data, and assist post‑award hand‑over, variation pricing and cost performance monitoring.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑15 years of experience in HVAC and oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of UAE oil & gas project requirements and relevant standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Required skills

• HVAC equipment knowledge: Package units, Air Handling Units (AHU), Chillers, Fan Coil Units (FCU), Split units, Condensing units.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and estimation tools.
• Cost analysis and pricing strategy.
• Tender documentation preparation and basic contract/commercial knowledge.
