Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the F&B Manager in delivering high‑quality food and beverage services, ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene and quality standards while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety management systems, HACCP, hygiene policies and EKFC safety standards.
• Assess manpower needs, conduct orientation and training, and monitor staff performance.
• Manage staff costs, including overtime and unplanned absences, and improve lounge operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production on menu changes, food presentation and kitchen matters.
• Assist in developing new beverage menus and concepts to enhance guest experience.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints on food quality or service promptly.
• Analyse customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply ISO 9001:2015 Quality Policy and execute department procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hospitality experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role within a 5‑star environment.
• Understanding of luxury hotel and stand‑alone restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene protocols.
• Proven achievements in food quality and cost control.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
