Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the housekeeping team at Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet the brand’s high quality standards. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams to deliver seamless service.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing room status.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and shift handovers.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Complete required paperwork and ensure compliance with safety, security and company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets and uphold confidentiality.
• Provide courteous guest service, anticipate needs and assist guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Ability to use computers or point‑of‑sale systems for data entry.
• Commitment to safety, quality and confidentiality.
