About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Billing Operations to join our Finance team at the Dubai Airport Free Zone headquarters. In this role you will oversee billing processes for multiple business units, ensure invoice accuracy, and drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end billing operations for assigned business units, including direct invoice preparation.
- Monitor and reduce unbilled revenue, improve billing accuracy, and maintain credit‑note percentages within targets.
- Standardise billing templates, controls and master data (rate cards) across teams.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, meet “Time to Invoice” and SLA targets, and produce weekly/monthly reporting.
- Lead a team of Senior Officers/Officers, handling workload allocation, performance reviews and capability development.
- Drive process‑improvement and automation projects, including system‑driven billing solutions.
- Act as first escalation point for client and internal queries, ensuring timely resolution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or BCom preferred.
- Proven experience in billing/invoicing with end‑to‑end responsibility across multiple business units.
- Demonstrated people‑management experience, leading a small finance team.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost‑saving and efficiency initiatives.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (large datasets, complex formulas, reporting).
- Experience with Oracle ERP and other billing systems.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
