Assistant Manager, Learning & Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development will support the Head of Firmwide Learning in designing, delivering and managing learning programs across KPMG’s Dubai office. This position plays a key part in fostering a culture of continuous development and aligning training initiatives with business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Firmwide Learning to create, update and deliver engaging training programs and materials.
• Research best practices and benchmark against member‑firm L&D approaches.
• Schedule, manage logistics and communicate all phases of training sessions, from planning to post‑course follow‑up.
• Source and recommend external vendors to design bespoke learning solutions.
• Oversee the CPD dashboard, monitor compliance and report performance metrics.
• Manage training budgets, review spend against plans and negotiate third‑party contracts.
• Lead large‑scale L&D projects such as global roll‑outs and process reviews.
• Coach the L&D coordination team and build relationships with regional L&D hubs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in a specialist L&D role.
• Strong project‑management capabilities and ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics to assess training effectiveness.
• Proactive, client‑focused attitude and a genuine passion for learning and development.
