Assistant Manager – Restaurant Reservations

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Restaurant Reservations to join Madinat Jumeirah, a luxury beachfront resort offering a portfolio of over 20 restaurants and lounges.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure internal and external service, quality, and commercial performance meet Reservations KPIs and standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations teams to maximise revenue and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reservations activities, including audits, revenue, compliance, finance, visas and group bookings.
• Monitor and escalate revenue, finance and guest‑experience risks while ensuring guest complaints are resolved promptly.
• Keep the team updated on property information, rates, services and selling strategies, driving consistent operational standards.
• Lead, coach and develop the Reservations team through training, performance reviews, recruitment and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management from an accredited university (Revenue Management qualification desirable).
• Advanced knowledge of PMS systems and strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication, customer‑relationship and conflict‑management abilities.
• Strong team player who is flexible, adaptable, diversity‑focused and able to manage time effectively.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Reservations Manager or in a similar hospitality role.
