Assistant Manager – Warehouse & Distribution

About the role

Mai Dubai Bottled Drinking Water is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations across multiple sites. The role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, timely order fulfillment and upholds safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage daily warehouse and distribution activities at several locations.
• Plan and coordinate material flow to meet production and sales needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through control procedures and regular physical counts.
• Supervise inbound and outbound logistics to guarantee timely product movement.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, drive continuous‑improvement projects and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, reports, process records and ensure safety compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse supervisors, storekeepers and forklift operators.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales and Logistics teams for seamless operations.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to ensure business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in warehouse and distribution within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume operations across multiple warehouse sites.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes and distribution.
• Experience working under pressure, handling multiple priorities and delivering results.
• Preferably GCC experience.

Required skills

• SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) or similar ERP system.
• ERP systems proficiency.
