Assistant Operations Manager – Room Dining

About the role

Atlantis, The Palm is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for its Room Dining operation. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will help ensure the highest standards of service, quality and profitability across the department. The role combines operational oversight with staff development in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant GM in daily operational management of Room Dining.
• Monitor and drive departmental KPIs related to guest satisfaction, product quality, people performance and profit.
• Oversee staff training, coaching and performance communication.
• Manage inventory, cost control and P&L performance for the outlet.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and brand standards.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in beach bar, restaurant or similar hospitality operations.
• Previous experience in a 5‑star international hotel environment preferred.
• Strong business acumen with proven ability to manage P&L.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
