Assistant Receiving – One & Only Za'abeel

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking an Assistant Receiving for its new One&Only Za’abeel resort in Dubai. The role supports seamless finance‑related receiving operations, ensuring that all goods and services are accurately recorded and aligned with purchase orders.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that an approved Purchase Order exists before accepting deliveries and match deliveries against PO, delivery note, quantity, specification and price.
• Report shortages, excesses, substitutions, damaged goods or price discrepancies to Cost Control/Purchasing.
• Raise Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for items received without invoices and record all transactions in the ERP system.
• Reconcile invoice prices with Purchase Orders and submit invoices with supporting documents to Finance daily.
• Obtain and document credit notes before returning goods, and follow up on outstanding returns.
• Inform relevant departments promptly when goods are received and ready for collection.
• Check food and vehicle temperatures and ensure perishable items are transferred to appropriate storage areas.
• Assist in maintaining an organized loading bay and coordinate inbound logistics.

Required profile

• Advanced understanding of financial standards, SOPs and reporting deadlines in the hospitality sector.
• Extensive experience delivering ultra‑luxury service to stakeholders.
• Proven track record in team management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for receiving and inventory control.
