Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the restaurant’s daily operations in a high‑traffic venue in Dubai’s DIFC district. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure seamless service, guest satisfaction, and a well‑coordinated team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff, ensuring teamwork, proper grooming, and adherence to uniform standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO compliance, and cleanliness; conduct inventories and requisition supplies.
• Oversee dining‑room operations, managing seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
