Assistant Spa Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa Manager will support daily front‑office spa operations at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, ensuring seamless service delivery and high guest satisfaction. This role works closely with the Spa Manager to uphold brand standards and deliver luxury experiences for all guests, including VIPs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑office spa operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Support the Spa Manager in implementing SOPs and maintaining brand standards.
• Supervise spa reception and guest service teams, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
• Monitor appointment scheduling, optimizing yield management and booking efficiency.
• Conduct daily operational checks for cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the Spa Manager’s absence.
• Handle guest feedback, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Greet VIP guests, conduct spa tours, and ensure personalized service.
• Promote upselling, retail sales, and re‑booking to enhance revenue.
• Assist in achieving departmental sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support payroll, labour control, and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, spa SOPs, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a luxury spa environment with supervisory or assistant‑managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of spa operations, front‑office procedures, and guest service standards.
• Experience in scheduling, yield management, and retail or revenue‑driven activities.
