Associate Director - Sales

About the role

RateGain is seeking an Associate Director – OTA Sales to lead its sales efforts across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The role focuses on expanding revenue for RateGain’s AI‑powered SaaS solutions that serve airlines, hotels, OTAs, cruise lines and car‑rental companies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with C‑suite executives and key decision‑makers in the travel ecosystem across MEA.
• Drive sales targets consistently, exceeding quarterly numbers.
• Travel 25‑50% of the time, primarily within the Middle East and Africa.
• Identify and pursue large‑scale, top‑down opportunities at brand, ownership and management levels.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, marketing and supply teams.
• Implement best‑practice sales processes to grow market share.
• Monitor competition, market trends and provide product feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15 years of revenue‑generating experience, preferably in OTA or travel‑technology sales.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within India and the APMEA region.
• Deep knowledge of OTA (B2C) travel industry and API‑based price comparison tools.

• Salesforce for client relationship management and forecasting.
