Audio Visual Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. The role supports a wide range of events and daily operations, ensuring flawless audio‑visual experiences for guests, VIPs and internal meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and dismantle AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets and entertainment events.
• Control sound, lighting, projection, video systems and LED displays during live events.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections and inventory management of all AV gear.
• Troubleshoot microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens and video‑conferencing systems on the spot.
• Provide on‑site technical support for VIP guests, executive meetings and high‑profile functions.
• Collaborate with Events, Banquets, Entertainment, IT and Engineering teams to meet technical requirements on schedule.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with a strong customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve technical issues quickly.
• Good organizational skills for equipment handling and record keeping.
