B2 Certifying Engineer – Jakarta Recruitment Event

About the role

The B2 Certifying Engineer will perform and supervise line and base level maintenance on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft, focusing on avionics and electrical systems. Candidates must be able to attend an invitation‑only recruitment event in Jakarta, Indonesia, during the first week of September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring correct parts, tools, and ground support equipment are used.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections, accurately recording any defects or damage.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within the scope of the CAR 66 B2 licence, verifying completion and documentation.
• Coordinate communications with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless handover of work.
• Maintain safety standards for all assigned maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Valid CAR 66 B2 licence authorisation.
• Experience in line/base level aircraft maintenance, particularly with avionics and electrical systems.
• Ability to attend the Jakarta recruitment event if shortlisted.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
