Barista

About the role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join its Food & Beverage team in Dubai. You will be part of a Guest Service Expert crew that creates memorable dining experiences while delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty drinks according to brand standards.
• Set up and maintain the service area, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and coordinate service flow.
• Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience; enthusiasm to learn on the job.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (50 kg with assistance).

Required skills

• Basic coffee‑making techniques.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to read menus and verify information visually.
