Bid Manager – Grid Systems Integration

About the role

GE Vernova is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead tendering and bid management for Grid Solutions projects across the Gulf, Pakistan, Iraq and Turkiye. You will own the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity assessment to hand‑over of awarded projects, ensuring high‑quality proposals are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in line with customer requirements and company strategy.
• Develop pre‑qualification documents, cost estimates, bills of quantities and execution plans.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Construction, EHS and Finance to ensure accurate submissions.
• Lead site visits and support technical solution development.
• Conduct bid risk assessments and define mitigation plans.
• Work with sourcing teams to optimise cost competitiveness and cash flow.
• Support customer negotiations during tendering and contract finalisation.
• Ensure smooth hand‑over of awarded projects to execution teams.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in bid management for HV substations or brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE utility market and regional regulatory environment.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality proposals under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
