Bus Driver

About the role

The school is looking for a dedicated Bus Driver to transport students safely between home and school each day. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean, mechanically sound vehicle and a secure environment for children during travel. This is a full‑time position reporting to the Facility Manager and Transport & Housekeeping Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons, verifying permissions for those riding with friends.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically‑sound bus, performing inspections before and after each route.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure the safety of all students on board.
• Discipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Assist students with boarding and alighting the bus as needed.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and keep RTA approvals up to date.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the school or regional office to support smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, adhering to the school’s Code of Conduct.
• Successful completion of background checks covering the previous ten years of employment.
• Valid UAE driving licence and up‑to‑date RTA approvals.
• Ability to work early morning hours (5:30 am) and occasional evenings or weekends.
